Soya Chunks Manchurian

Ingredients
Soya chunks- 1 cup
Hot water
Salt- ½ teaspoon
Turmeric powder- ¼ teaspoon
Kashmiri red chili powder- 1 teaspoon
Salt- to taste
Garam masala powder- 2 teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste- 1 teaspoon
Lemon juice- 1 tablespoon
Asafetida- a pinch
Gram flour- 2 tablespoons
Corn flour- 1 tablespoons
Rice flour- 1 tablespoons
Oil for deep frying
Few curry leaves
Method
- Take medium sized soya chunks in a bowl. Pour hot water over it.
- Add salt and stir it. Let it sit for about 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, soya chunks will get soft and plump.
- Squeeze out the extra water from it and transfer it to a different bowl.
- Add turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, lemon juice and asafetida. Mix it well.
- Add gram flour, rice flour and corn flour. Mix everything gently to coat soya chunks.
- Now, heat oil on medium flame. Slowly drop the soya chunks individually so that they don’t get stick with each other.
- Fry until golden brown in color.
- Serve hot with ketchup and mayo.
