Mochi is a type of rice cake and signature Japanese food that has been around for centuries.

Mochi is made from glutinous, short-grain rice called mochigome (mochi rice), known for having a chewy texture a sticky, stretchy and soft texture. Mochi is very versatile with endless flavour possibilities. 

Due to the sticky nature of the rice, eat Mochi in small bites, or cut mochi into small pieces before eating it.
