Useful Tips For Using Golden Mountain Distilled Vinegar (5%)
- For fluffier, great-tasting rice, add 1/3 tablespoon of Golden Mountain Distilled Vinegar to the boiling water. Your rice will be easier to spoon and less sticky.
- To revive vegetables that look stale and wilted, soak them in a litre of cold water and add a tablespoon of Golden Mountain Distilled Vinegar.
- To prevent hard-cooked eggs from cracking, add two tablespoons of Golden Mountain Distilled Vinegar per litre of water before cooking. This will also help shells to peel off faster and easier.
- To marinate meat, simply moisten the meat with Golden Mountain Distilled Vinegar and rub on a mixture of dry spices, herbs and seasonings.
- To remove pesticides from fruit and vegetables, wash them with a mixture of 2-3 tablespoons of Golden Mountain Distilled Vinegar per litre of water.
- To clean, cut grease, and absorb odours on your wood cutting board, wipe down with Golden Mountain Distilled Vinegar.
- To clean and freshen the microwave, mix four tablespoons of Golden Mountain Distilled Vinegar and 1/4 litre of water in a small bowl and heat for 5 minutes. This will remove the odours and soften baked-on food spills.
