Sempio’s fresh udon noodles make food prep easy and cut down your overall cooking time. Our fresh udon noodles are kneaded with carefully selected wheat flour and undergo 2 noodle-making processes. First, we put as much water as possible in the dough to promote the activation of gluten in the flour. Then, the gluten tissue in the wheat flour is pressed vertically and diagonally stimulating the gluten tissues expanding it into a mesh shape. With these two noodle-making processes, the surface of our fresh udon noodles is soft and the Noodle has a wonderful texture. Our fresh udon noodles are exceptionally versatile and taste great in soups, stir-fry dishes, salads, etc.
